Baby Cthulhu

forget from yarn, fimo, and love.Check out this Cthulhu. Scary, eh? No? Well, he’s just a baby, so what do you expect? I made him out of yarn using nothing but a crochet hook, some fimo clay, and this excellent book which I found at  a yarn store in Evanston. No, I don’t  like go shopping at yarn stores or whatever. But just like any manly man, I like a good crochet project once in a while. Did you know that sailors used to knit their own uniforms and make ropes and stuff. That’s right. So stop laughing.

Actually, my girlfriend has a black belt in the fiber arts, and I was there with her.  Check out her work! And I’ll preempt any stupid jokes by saying, no, she didn’t knit the cat. And if you never would have made that joke in the first place, and it was actually i that made the stupid joke …. then so be it.
