Thanks for the tutorial dan. I&#039;m working on a face lift for my site too and am thinking of throwing in a blog as well - Blog is the new Black apparently :) This post really helps.

I&#039;m was sort of going back and forth between your approach of using a native wordpress install and using a CMS offering like Joomla for all the site content and leveraging its native blog function. I&#039;ve decided to go with your approach since a CMS makes sense only if the content of the rest of my site changes dynamically as well, which I doubt it will.
